It’s nice to get out of the office, and the trip to the proving ground was certainly a change of pace. But this wasn’t much of a welcome. It was the kind of sign a lawyer might write. In fact, it probably was, given the release we had to sign before we got even this far.
If you are going to get to know a product–if you are going to understand a business–you have to be willing to shed the coat and tie and get your hands dirty. And while we wouldn’t recommend this particular venue for a family vacation, for trial lawyers dedicated to knowing as much about the product as the client knows, this really was a trip to paradise.
