It sometimes seems to us that the people who are writing contracts are stuck in the maze of Old English. Whereas, premises considered, the parties of the first part act by and through their undersigned agents in said matter grant the parties of the second part the aforementioned rights subject to the conditions set forth hereinafter.
It’s no wonder that we get called upon to unravel these messes when things go awry. And when we are, we bring clarity, common sense, the law and a rich understanding of how business work to the solution. That’s part of the reason we often find ourselves rewriting contracts and codes of conduct so that the same problem won’t happen again.
