We are pleased to announce that Adam Lounsbury has been made a partner in the firm. Adam joined Spencer Shuford in 2015 after stints at Winston & Strawn and Dewey & LeBoeuf in New York City. Adam’s practice spans the firm’s core litigation practice areas of automobile product liability defense and general commercial litigation, and includes extensive expertise in class action litigation.
Adam’s promotion to partner caps a busy year at Spencer Shuford, which in addition to Adam’s arrival saw the addition of 4 other attorneys. Robert Best, formerly of LeClair Ryan, joined the firm as Counsel last July. Rob lends his trial experience to the firm’s product liability group, while also assisting partner Mark Shuford in the firm’s continued expansion into complex commercial litigation.
In September, the firm added two attorneys to its group of associates. Latosha Ellis joined the firm after completing a one year clerkship with the Henrico County Circuit Court, and Elena Patarinski came to Spencer Shuford after several years of private practice at another Richmond firm where, in addition to civil litigation, her practice included estate planning, business, and real estate law.
